This project, run by the Programs and Projects, and Conservation departments, is geared towards sustainably increasing the biodiversity of the area, and general environmental conservation. Work will be done with the Pro Nara conservation association in order to protect the whole area, while also relocating and exchanging rare, dislocated, and/or endangered species for ecological restoration.

This project is also integrated with all other projects in one way or another, and is the broadest and most encompassing of all the other projects. It is here, in some ways, as a placeholder, or foot in the door, for people who are not wanting to get involved in any specific project of ECSOR. Some members may be involved more specifically with the flora and fauna, and their rearing, while others may be more into the technical, manufacturing, or surveying side.

Volunteers and Program Members of the EEC Project are required to:

  1. Pass the program/project-specific Team Cerro Nara Standards of Conduct Assessment (TCN SCA).
  2. Wear designated gear for presentation and safety purposes, and potentially wear body cameras.
  3. Work with, locate, relocate, manage, and grow many types of flora and fauna, such as rare and/or endangered species.
  4. Participate in the Analog Forestry program, Cerro Nara Public Awareness program, and Local Support and Solidarity program.
  5. Potentially:
    • Carry supplies to designated locations.
    • Work in a rugged environment.
    • Camp in the wilderness.
    • Construct structures out of conventional, organic, and earthen materials.
    • Set up nature cameras and learn to operate drones for surveillance.
  6. Fully read and sign a contract and waver that binds them to a specific task(s) and sign a waiver liability.
