These organizations: Eco Era in charge of the lower lands, Aloki on the southern side, PEA spread all over, and Pro Nara uniting them all in a registered association, Team Cerro Nara supports all of them in some way weather that is a fiscal sponsorship, or helping with their operations, and in fact, we all help eachother with our shared mission and work protecting the local environment and in solidarity with the Pro Nara Associations constitution stating: “Cerro Nara. and the outlying areas”.
We spent many days and many hours together making these signs to put on the road to inform the public of the organizations that protect the land (PEA, Eco Era, Aloki, Pro Nara, and Team Cerro Nara), and that the area has become under surveillance in order to protect the animals. This was done at the cost of our operating budget during the year of 2025. There are many more signs to put up, and we are eager to get back to doing so.
We have had many surveillance missions of the damaged zones of Cerro Nara, and have reported some of the neighbors for needless chemical use and destruction of the Protected Zone of Cerro Nara.
We have been visiting this waterfall for 30 years which we had been making open to the public. It is one of the largest year round waterfalls in Costa Rica.
